Recently I have had two different customer service experiences that clearly point out what to do and what not to do. Around Thanksgiving my wife Tammy and I went to Disney World and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we got on the bus from the airport to Disney World until we left four days later all aspects of Disney service was wonderful. All the employees we met at Disney were service eagles, soaring above any amusement park competition.
Today I had the complete opposite service experience in fact it was the worst service experience of my life. I purchased a Photosmart B9180 printer last month and I never did get it working properly. Following HP's instruction's I had unpacked it and got it ready to set up. However once I plugged it in and turned the power on I got the following error message. "Problem detected, reset required. Disconnect power cord and reconnect." Today I contacted HP service and spent over 2 hours in hell being given a run around by eleven different people. Although I have purchased 3 different HP computers and 5 different HP printers I will never again purchase an HP product. I figure I can avoid product bugs if I stay away from HP dogs. Not only am I not going to purchase any additional HP products I am going to encourage any one I meet to reconsider any HP purchases.
