Happy New Years

I hope that all of you who visit this blog have a safe and prosperous New Year.

Kyla and Josh Bowles Wedding Collages

I mentioned previously in another post how easy Foto Fusion was to use to create collages and design wedding albums.  Once you have your basic design ideas you can create album pages in less than a minute.  The hardest part about using Foto Fusion is coming up with your basic design.  A couple of years ago when I took a week long photography class with David Ziser, a famous wedding photographer, (visit his blog to learn more about his work @ www.Digitalprotalk.blogspot.com) he demonstrated Foto Fusion and I have found it to be a joy to use to create collages and albums.

Combining multiple images into a collage is a nice way to exhibit a variety of images in one print.  Fortunately combining multiple images is extremely easy when I use Foto Fusion.  This program is the best that I have found for designing wedding albums and making collages it is unbelievably simple and easy to use.  Here are is a collage from the other day when I was fortunate to photograph the Haddad family.

Whitney and Kylar

When I am working on images many times I will  see a variety of ways of viewing the final product.  When I finished enhancing the images of Whitney and Kylar I liked Whitney's expression with Kylar's hand close to her face.  It reminded me of the expression I have seen many mothers exhibit right before they give their baby a loving kiss.

Earlier in the month I received a request to take some family portraits and what was unique about this request was that the family lived in the Chicago area.  Yesterday I had a wonderful time taking photographs of Travis, Whitney and Kylar and I really appreciate the opportunity to create their family portraits.  Here are a few of the images taken yesterday.

Ryan and Jenna's wedding

I have blogged many time how I love photographing weddings and was particularly nice to be a part of wedding when you have watched the bride grow up from a cute little girl to a fine young women.  Saturday I was lucky to be part of Jenna Cutright's and Ryan Shaner's wedding and I had a wonderful time.  While taking engagement pictures of Ryan and Jenna earlier this year it was easy to see how much in love they were with each other and it was more evident during their wedding day.  Maybe I am a romantic fool but when I photograph couples particularly on their wedding day I want to be blown away by their expression of love for each other.  Here are a few of the individual pictures of Jenna and Ryan on their wedding day.
