Granddaughter Hannah's cheerleading performance

My granddaughter Hannah cheers for the Bridgeport Middle School Braves.  Last night was the Harrison County Middle School Cheerleading competition at RC Byrd High School.  Hannah and her team mates did a wonderful job and were able to earn third place in the competition.  Although I enjoy watching the competition it always makes me nervous when they do stunts.  Over the years I have watched a number of cheer competitions and performances at high school events and I have noticed that cheerleaders are injured more than any other athletes.  Since my granddaughter is small for her age group she is usually the flyer in the stunts which increases the risk of being injured.
